Geoff:

back to the second half of our interview with Tim Shields, We really enjoyed our first half of our interview and happy to go deeper with you, Tim.

Tim:

Thank you so much.

Tim:

This is going to be awesome.

Jaclyn:

Yeah, so in the first interview, you were talking about your story, how you got to where you're at today, and having to learn all of the, the leadership skills to do what you're doing today.

Jaclyn:

And so I'm sure that in that process, you learned some amazing things because especially when we have to learn things with struggle, we learn some really deep, uh, you know, some deep lessons.

Jaclyn:

And so I would love to hear what kinds of things you've learned along the way that our listeners can also benefit from.

Tim:

Oh, absolutely.

Tim:

I'd love to give you some keys.

Tim:

I take these keys from Joshua chapter one, and I did a series recently, uh, a four part video series it was called Faith, Fear, and Your Promised Land.

Tim:

And so the first key that I tell people, and they may have heard this before, but this key is not an option.

Tim:

It's not something you can say, well, I'll do this every once in a while.

Tim:

you must meditate on God's word during the day and during the night.

Tim:

And that's what God told Joshua in Joshua chapter 1.

Tim:

said, meditate on my word during the day, during the night, when you get up, when you lie down, when you're at lunch, when you're talking to your people, meditate on my word.

Tim:

Meditate meaning think about it, discuss it, read it, you know, process it.

Tim:

Meditate.

Tim:

Uh, during the day and during the night, for the rest of your life, every day,

Jaclyn:

Mhm,

Tim:

So this is the difference between somebody who may be successful.

Tim:

When I say successful, I'm talking about fulfilling God's destiny for their life.

Tim:

And somebody who just doesn't do it, doesn't seem like it's working for them.

Tim:

I would say my first question to them is, how is your daily walk with God coming?

Tim:

Are you meditating on his word day and night?

Tim:

I mean, during the day or during the night or when you can, when you're at work and you're at break, do you take the break to do what?

Tim:

Do you go into your car and meditate on his word?

Tim:

Uh, I'm just asking the questions because I found now that I can look back, I have the privilege and the luxury of looking back 41 years of my life and saying, what kept me?

Tim:

What's the number one thing that kept me?

Tim:

During the good times and the bad, during all the challenges of having five children, of trying to develop this ministry, what kept this thing going?

Tim:

And it is your strength in the Word of God.

Tim:

So, are you spending time with the Lord?

Tim:

Are you reading his word?

Tim:

And for me personally, I would read it out loud.

Tim:

So, are you meditating on his word during the day and during the night?

Tim:

Every day for the rest of your life.

Tim:

Can you do it?

Tim:

And some would say, well, that's just too rigid.

Tim:

It's too strict.

Tim:

I can't do that.

Tim:

I mean, I might do it once or twice a week.

Tim:

Well, That's how successful you'll be.

Tim:

And let me put it in perspective.

Tim:

A person told me one time, successful people do daily when unsuccessful people do occasionally.

Jaclyn:

Ah,

Geoff:

Wow.

Tim:

so really it's true.

Jaclyn:

Mhm,

Tim:

It's true.

Tim:

If you will do it daily, and you know, I know every once in a while we miss it, something happens, you know, there's a fire on a house down the street, or there's a thunderstorm, you got to help a neighbor, I got it.

Tim:

But if that's happening every time, every day, but I would say, look, meditate on those words.

Tim:

You have, you say, I'm so tired.

Tim:

You know, when I was tired, when I was a 20 year old, and I was tired for working so much, you know what I would do?

Tim:

I would stand on the edge of the tub, Or on stand on a chair, and I'd read the Word of God out loud so I wouldn't fall asleep.

Tim:

You have to be desperate for God.

Tim:

You have to be desperate for Him to show up, okay?

Tim:

Put it on your walls in your bedroom if you're a teenager, if you can.

Tim:

Just put it everywhere to remind you because your brain needs to be washed.

Tim:

Day and night needs to be washed with the Word.

Tim:

And if it is, you will build your faith, you will feed your faith, and you'll starve your doubts to death.

Jaclyn:

Mhm, Amen.

Tim:

one.

Jaclyn:

Wow.

Jaclyn:

Even that is like, okay, thank you.

Jaclyn:

I'm good.

Jaclyn:

But there's more.

Jaclyn:

Oh, that's fantastic.

Jaclyn:

It's so true.

Jaclyn:

And

Tim:

That is not easy.

Jaclyn:

Mm hmm.

Jaclyn:

It's true.

Geoff:

it's not.

Tim:

when you get you know, you get your Bible out, and all of a sudden you'd be like, phone starts to ring, the doorbell rings, the dog's barking, there's a fire in the backyard, the neighbor wants to talk to you right when you're reading the Word of God.

Jaclyn:

Uh, yeah.

Jaclyn:

Yeah.

Tim:

You know you're on track.

Tim:

But you say, Tim, I'm a mother.

Tim:

I got three kids I mean, what's going on?

Tim:

Well, then have the, the Word of God playing while you're doing breakfast.

Tim:

Sing songs to the Word of God.

Tim:

Wash your dishes to the Word of God.

Tim:

Change diapers.

Tim:

I had to change diapers five kids.

Tim:

As you're giving them baths, changing diapers, put them to sleep, read the Word of God to them, and it's coming to you, too.

Jaclyn:

Yep.

Jaclyn:

Yep.

Tim:

Don't make any excuses.

Tim:

Bring the Word of God with you wherever you go.

Tim:

And if it's got to be in child's form, then be in child's form.

Tim:

Didn't Jesus say it's a childlike faith?

Tim:

So let's do this.

Jaclyn:

amen.

Jaclyn:

And one of the things too is that if you're asking God for wisdom or insight or, you know, just to speak to you in any way, if you're asking for God to, tell you anything, but you're not looking in his word, it's, I'm not saying that it's the only way that God can speak to you, but it is one of the things The most common ways that God speaks to you is through his word because he will draw something out of the page that will connect with your heart.

Jaclyn:

And I've had that happen so many times where I needed to hear from the Lord and I opened my Bible and, there was one time I was actually on my way to go read the Psalms because I felt I needed encouragement.

Jaclyn:

And on my way there, I felt like, no, I need to look in Job.

Jaclyn:

strangely enough, and I did find encouragement there.

Jaclyn:

And so, when you go and you open the book and your intention is that you want to make that connection with God and you want to learn, you want to grow, then you can be led to read the scriptures that will give you what you need.

Tim:

100%.

Tim:

I mean, God will never, mislead his children, right?

Jaclyn:

Amen.

Jaclyn:

Yeah.

Jaclyn:

He

Tim:

the great father and, And by the way, please forgive me, but after 41 years, I've heard a lot of people say, well, I didn't have a father figure.

Tim:

Well, I didn't either.

Tim:

use that as an excuse.

Tim:

You have the perfect father now.

Tim:

Now let that go and go with the perfect father.

Tim:

And now you be that mother or father you always wanted somebody else to be by breaking the generational curse.

Tim:

Just do it.

Tim:

And I'm not saying it's not difficult, but just be it.

Tim:

Do it.

Tim:

and it'll change people's lives around you.

Jaclyn:

Amen.

Jaclyn:

All right.

Jaclyn:

Number

Tim:

you want me to go into number

Jaclyn:

Let's keep going.

Tim:

Well, on number two, I would say, uh, if you read Joshua chapter one, God lays out the vision of Joshua.

Tim:

You know, we read Joshua chapter one, and the only thing we kind of read from it is, oh, we gotta meditate on God's word day and night.

Tim:

That seems so laborious and boring.

Tim:

You know?

Tim:

And, uh, it wasn't until maybe The Chosen, people watched The Chosen, Oh, wow, this is pretty cool!

Tim:

You know?

Tim:

But, if you read Joshua chapter one, you'll find that God lays it out for Joshua.

Tim:

See, Joshua did not know he was going to lead the people into the Promised Land.

Tim:

That's my thought process.

Tim:

I wouldn't die on that hill, but he thought Moses was going to do it.

Jaclyn:

Right.

Jaclyn:

Yeah.

Jaclyn:

I'm

Tim:

And so he had, he was Moses assistant, right?

Tim:

He was, Moses assistant.

Tim:

He heard all the laughter of the nations for the last 40 years that, he had to wander in the desert.

Tim:

Um, he heard all the things that God was saying through Moses.

Tim:

He heard what the people were saying.

Tim:

And now, God has now raised him up to be the anointed leader.

Tim:

And so, you know what he tells Joshua?

Tim:

He said, okay, here's the plan.

Tim:

He lays it out.

Tim:

This is the plan I promised Moses.

Tim:

Now, I'm going to continue that plan.

Tim:

uh, always will be faithful.

Tim:

So number two is that I will never abandon you.

Jaclyn:

Mm hmm.

Tim:

he says, I will never leave you or forsake you.

Tim:

Or the literal word means I will never abandon you.

Tim:

Okay, so the thing is, is that while you walk God's calling out on your life or hard decisions in your life, God will never abandon you.

Tim:

abandon you.

Tim:

You might try to abandon him,

Jaclyn:

Mm hmm.

Tim:

but he will not abandon you.

Tim:

So there's going to be up times and down times.

Tim:

There's going to be challenging times and times of rest during your walk and your calling, destiny that you want to get to your promised land.

Tim:

And so just remember this, God is still there.

Tim:

He will never abandon you.

Tim:

If you feel like he's abandoned you right now, then reach out to him.

Tim:

Open the scriptures, put on some good music, call a friend you know who loves God, have them pray for you.

Tim:

He's not abandoning you.

Jaclyn:

Amen.

Jaclyn:

Good word.

Tim:

So I'm just going by Joshua chapter one, number three.

Jaclyn:

All right.

Tim:

I'll give you one more and we can chat on, you'll see that, God tells Joshua that as he meditates on God's word, he will get strength confidence, and perseverance.

Jaclyn:

is what he

Jaclyn:

needed

Jaclyn:

to do his, his job.

Tim:

So, I think all of us need strength, right, and confidence, and perseverance.

Tim:

It's not our strength.

Tim:

It's not our confidence.

Tim:

It's not our perseverance.

Tim:

It's a supernatural measure from the Lord.

Tim:

to give you the strength you need to carry on.

Tim:

See, if we meditate on his word and we know he's, still there, he's not abandoned us during the dark times or the hard times, and we persevere and we will get the strength and the confidence we need and a word.

Tim:

You know, when we meditate on his word, it the clutter out

Tim:

of our brain and focuses our mind and it washes our brain, gets all the dirt off of it.

Tim:

And so that now we can think clearly, what is God's word?

Tim:

What is he saying?

Tim:

And I can think clearly,

Jaclyn:

Mm hmm, mm

Tim:

So I would tell somebody if they're undecisive right now on the will of God for their life, I would say two things.

Tim:

Number one is, go and meditate on God's word.

Tim:

Maybe go to the book of Revelation, say Revelation, because it's called the book of Revelation or revealing.

Tim:

You need some enlightenment and some revealing in your life?

Tim:

Do what it says in the first couple verses of Revelation.

Tim:

Read it out loud so you can hear what it says, and you'll be blessed.

Tim:

So keep reading it until God speaks to you personally about what you need to do in that situation.

Tim:

It's the book of Revelation.

Tim:

It'll give you Revelation.

Tim:

Many times in my life, I go to that book.

Tim:

Now, all books will do that.

Tim:

I just say start there.

Tim:

If you don't know where to start, start there.

Tim:

Okay?

Tim:

But if you'd rather do it in a different book, do it in a different book.

Tim:

Number two, there's this great article by, um, Billy Graham.

Tim:

It's called The Will of God from the Billy Graham Library.

Tim:

it's called Forks in the Road.

Tim:

And you can get it off Google.

Tim:

I have it right here.

Tim:

I got it off Google the other day.

Tim:

It's a six point, seven point plan on knowing the will of God for your life.

Tim:

So if you're, like, confused with the will of God, it's really, really good to understand the will of God and have those points.

Tim:

that would help you.

Tim:

So, those are the things.

Tim:

Number one, meditate on his word during the day and during the night, or when you get up, when you're changing diapers, when you're hosing the lawn, you know, sprinkling the lawn, or when there's no money in the checking account, you know, do what you know you should do.

Tim:

Number two, he's not forsaking.

Tim:

He's always there.

Tim:

If you know it's God's will, if you know He spoke to you to do it, then think about it.

Tim:

Is it on wait?

Tim:

Am I on pause?

Tim:

Or am I to go forth?

Tim:

Don't give up.

Tim:

It didn't say, pause is not a bad place to be, but don't give up.

Tim:

And number three, Persevere.

Tim:

And meditating on God's Word will give you the perseverance, the strength, and the confidence you need to go into the Word of God.

Tim:

If you want to know more about this, I have a four part video series on my website, TimmyRay.

Tim:

com.

Tim:

It's really easy to find.

Tim:

I only have two video series on there.

Tim:

And so one video series is called Faith, Fear, and Your Promised Land.

Tim:

Just things, a few things God has taught me through the book of Joshua.

Tim:

I'm finding the will of God and persevering, and you can learn them too.

Tim:

They're not long videos, they're about five minutes each, so they're real easy to go through.

Tim:

They got a lot of b roll, a lot of cool stuff and stock footage in them, so it's not just like watching a talking head.

Tim:

It's just really

Jaclyn:

mm hmm, sounds fun,

Geoff:

a great offering.

Geoff:

Thank you for sharing this stuff today.

Tim:

Yeah, I, I wanted to add one more thing to that, and that is, that this is not perfect, it's not like a perfect formula, but these are basic principles that anybody could follow, on the, faith, fear, and your promised land.

Tim:

And it's what you'll find in every person's life that has found.

Tim:

and has completed God's destiny for their life.

Tim:

You know, Joshua completed, the will of God for his life.

Tim:

It's the craziest thing.

Tim:

If you go to Joshua 23 verses 9 and 10 and 14 and 15, you'll see in 14, 15, he's about to go the way of the earth.

Tim:

He's about to die.

Tim:

And he says to the people of Israel, all the promises that God has given us, not one has failed.

Jaclyn:

Mm

Tim:

one has been fulfilled.

Tim:

Now, that's a mind blower.

Tim:

I mean, wouldn't you want to get to the end of your life, or part of your life, or half through your life, and say, you know, all the promises that God has given me has been fulfilled?

Jaclyn:

hmm.

Tim:

I mean, most people do.

Tim:

Yeah, I mean, it's a mind blower.

Tim:

These verses are just craziness.

Tim:

I rarely hear that, so I just want people to know, look, this is not what I just said, the first three.

Tim:

There's more.

Tim:

Take them as God speaks to you, but some of these things, what you'll see in everyone's life, for the rest of their life if they're successful.

Tim:

Successful meaning following God's will, not quitting, and completing that destiny or whatever it looks like.

Geoff:

thank you, Tim, for sharing all of that with us.

Geoff:

I think people can hear the pastor's heart in all of that, and I think that's a big part of what you bring what you personally bring into content, media conference as well.

Geoff:

Uh, talk about that for a moment, because, as you alluded to in the, first part of our interview, different conferences, festivals, do have different feels.

Geoff:

some are more business focused and so on.

Geoff:

and you cover a lot of course with training and networking.

Geoff:

But as you mentioned, there is, a strong spiritual element to it.

Geoff:

tell us about that.

Tim:

Yeah, well, a little bit about my background, um, I did go to Bible school and eventually did become, an elder in the church and then I was an associate pastor of two churches and I helped six church plants and then Capernaum Studios.

Tim:

Um, I think, the biggest thing I could say from my heart is, is that, Revelations 5, 9, and 10.

Tim:

Revelations 5, 9, has been a strong revelation to me, it says in that verse , Jesus was slaughtered, and with his blood, he purchased people.

Tim:

From every tribe, tongue, nation, and language.

Tim:

And he made those people to be a kingdom and priest to serve the Father.

Tim:

And so it became such a strong revelation to me that, if that was the heart of what Jesus did, then that has to be my heart.

Tim:

And so then I would say, okay, let's look back at the Bible.

Tim:

is this God's heart all the way from Genesis to Revelation?

Tim:

And it is.

Tim:

You see, time and time again, Gathering people from all tribes, tongues, nations, and languages.

Tim:

It doesn't seem that way, maybe, if you're not reading it with the right glasses on.

Tim:

But if you put the right glasses on, you say, Okay, I want to find out if he did reach out to all ethnicities all that.

Tim:

He did.

Tim:

It's the craziest thing.

Tim:

There's over 300 verses in the New Testament alone about how he demolished, destroyed, Discrimination.

Jaclyn:

Wow.

Tim:

so I have researched on myself, it's on my website, again, TimmyRay.

Tim:

com.

Tim:

It's my other video series on racism in the Bible.

Tim:

You just don't find that God, likes racism at all.

Tim:

Racism as defined by the Bible.

Tim:

Let's get that clear.

Tim:

it's there though, it's hundreds of verses, and so you, your question, let's go back to your question, your question, pastor's heart, that's another thing he's called me to be, a pastor.

Tim:

It just so happens he had two callings on my life, pastoral

Tim:

and media,

Tim:

okay?

Tim:

And it really was, as I matured and grew, it really was going to be to help those in media, pastor them to a point, so they can find and go and fulfill the destiny God called them to take their media mountain.

Tim:

Amen.

Tim:

That's really what it was going to be about.

Tim:

In the meantime, though, he was going to then put my heart on the potter's wheel and mature me, and still is, and will be for the rest of my life, so I get the benefit of maturing, I get the benefit of building my character, but then I can pass some of those things on to others, because want everyone to fulfill the call of God in their life.

Tim:

I want them to know the will of God.

Tim:

But I also, if they're hurting, I want them to be encouraged.

Tim:

If they're on top of the mountain, I want them to share it with others.

Tim:

You know, uh, if they're being tormented, if they're being threatened, I want there to be a support group for them.

Tim:

And so I take that and I bring it to the media people.

Tim:

And so I'm all about building family from all tribes, tongues, nations, and languages.

Tim:

I want to build the biggest family on the face of this earth before I depart from this world, because that's what, Jesus did in Revelations 10, and that was his intent.

Tim:

And so that's what I bring into the conference,

Jaclyn:

just to go back for a bit, um, I was thinking about what you were saying when you were encouraging people to read the Book of Revelation.

Jaclyn:

Even if you don't understand it, just keep reading it, um, because, you know, at the beginning it promises you'll be blessed.

Jaclyn:

And, uh, it reminded me of a time When I was a new Christian, uh, like I grew up in the church, fell away, and then I came back in my mid twenties.

Jaclyn:

And one of the things that I wanted to do, was I wanted to read the whole Bible, because I realized, I actually realized through nutrition that God gave us answers, you know, our daily lives.

Jaclyn:

because I was reading secular books on nutrition and they kept saying that, The food laws in the Bible was the most healthy way to eat, and I was like, really?

Jaclyn:

Okay, well, what else does this book have that I'm not getting, you know?

Jaclyn:

And so then I, kind of set out, I'm going to read this whole thing.

Jaclyn:

Um, and I remember when I was reading through the books of Chronicles and thinking like, what?

Jaclyn:

in the world, you know, and I was just thinking like, God, I am not getting anything out of this.

Jaclyn:

But I decided I'm going to read it anyway, and maybe when I read through the second time, something will click.

Jaclyn:

And that's exactly what happened.

Jaclyn:

The first time I read it, it did not mean anything to me.

Jaclyn:

It was just a bunch of details.

Jaclyn:

I didn't really fully understand You know, who was who anyways, but when I, I finished reading through the whole Bible and I started back at the beginning again, when I went through the Chronicles a second time, stuff started jumping out at me and I was like, no way!

Jaclyn:

So absolutely, I want to encourage people.

Jaclyn:

If you don't understand it, that's okay.

Jaclyn:

Just keep reading.

Jaclyn:

will get it.

Tim:

don't be afraid of the book of Revelation, of any book.

Tim:

It is one of the greatest books in the whole Bible because it's the book of victory.

Tim:

Most people look at it, oh, it's a book of destruction.

Tim:

Well, no, no, no, no, Most of the chapters in there are not a book of destruction.

Tim:

The ones that look like destruction is The Beast and the False Prophet, and Christ is trying to cause that, however God wins all the time, all throughout that.

Tim:

And it's a book of mercy, it's a book of His character, it's a book of His names, it's a book of victory.

Tim:

So if you want that in your life, I'd read it out loud.

Jaclyn:

Amen.

Tim:

But it's true, that was one of the books that I focused on is Revelation and the Book of James.

Tim:

Those two, Book of James for character, Book of Revelations for victory.

Tim:

for prophecy on my life and so the will of God would come out and these are good books to do that and just keep doing it listen, there was one time in my life, Jaclyn, that I needed help with something.

Tim:

There was a person in my life that I felt had wronged me and I was like, Lord, how can I talk ? Every time I think about this person, I always think about something negative, Lord, and I know that's not how as Christian believers we should be.

Tim:

So, Lord Will you help me?

Tim:

So this is what he said, and he didn't say it like in audible words, but he said, I want you to read the book of James every day until I tell you.

Tim:

It's the book of James character, right?

Tim:

So the book of James is five chapters, takes 20 minutes when you read it out loud, so I read it every day for like a year.

Jaclyn:

Wow.

Tim:

a year

Jaclyn:

Wow.

Jaclyn:

You could

Tim:

could be purged and mature.

Tim:

Oh, yeah.

Tim:

Yeah.

Tim:

I mean, I know it's in every chapter, but the thing is, is that it started maturing me and giving me the strength to see this personally God sees,

Jaclyn:

Right.

Jaclyn:

Yes.

Tim:

right?

Tim:

And not having to be concerned or be offended, about that in my life.

Tim:

because, you know, when you're offended and you embrace that offense, then you've just put the will of God and the, I'd say, the mantle of God on hold.

Jaclyn:

Mm hmm.

Tim:

And maybe have destroyed it if you stay there long enough.

Tim:

So you don't want to stay in a fence because then it, it alters the way you go in life.

Jaclyn:

Mm hmm.

Tim:

All of a sudden you're, you're making new plans.

Tim:

You're changing your plans to try to get justice or to try to hurt somebody or get revenge or because of something.

Tim:

Okay?

Tim:

I'm not saying there's not hard situations in life.

Tim:

There is.

Tim:

I was a pastor, heard many of them, and still to this day I hear many of them, and they've happened to me, some of them.

Tim:

And so it's just, all I'm trying to say is, don't stay there.

Tim:

Read the Word of God, like you said, and get the revelation you need until you get the victory.

Tim:

And if you've got to pull somebody in to help you, call your best friend every once in a while and say, I need you to pray over me right now.

Tim:

You don't have to tell them what it is, because tell them what it is, then you're just reciting all that offense.

Tim:

Just say, I'm offended right now about something.

Tim:

Will you pray over me to get rid of that?

Jaclyn:

Mm hmm.

Jaclyn:

Amen.

Jaclyn:

Amen.

Tim:

Offense is one of the biggest things,

Tim:

you know, to destroy the will of God in your life.

Jaclyn:

And actually, I think the Bible does say that a circumcised heart takes no offense.

Jaclyn:

And so, if we want to have that, then that is part of what we have to do in our walk is to, you know, take our thoughts captive and to focus on having the right attitude.

Jaclyn:

And that is one of the things that when I pray to God, and I'm like, I know I have the wrong attitude right now.

Jaclyn:

I am really, really Really not in the right frame of mind, and I know this is not how you're seeing this situation, or the person, I have to confess, I'm having a bad attitude, and I find, when I do take that to God, with that humility where I recognize I'm not necessarily complaining about the issue itself, it's more recognizing that I'm in the wrong frame of mind.

Jaclyn:

I'm out of line right now, and I'm asking for God to bring me back into, uh, how he wants me to live and see and, and it's amazing because by the end of that prayer, most of the time, my attitude has already started changing.

Tim:

Offense and unforgiveness is one of the hardest things to get over, but also it's the greatest thing that'll, hold you back from the will of God, or fulfilling the destiny for your life.

Tim:

And so it's like, okay, how do I get over this?

Tim:

How do I develop a character that I don't have to be offended?

Tim:

I know it's okay.

Tim:

you know, this is the thing.

Tim:

This is a total 100 percent whole life process.

Tim:

It's not like you get it once, one and done, I got

Tim:

it.

Tim:

It's a whole life process.

Tim:

He's developing us for the next life.

Tim:

The next life is not diapers in a cloud.

Tim:

I'll be giving orders, and so know there's going to be a lot of work to do in heaven.

Tim:

Really, Tim?

Tim:

Yes, because God Developed and worked the heavenly New Jerusalem.

Tim:

So we got work to do in the New Jerusalem.

Tim:

We're going to be giving roles and, and functions.

Tim:

We're not going to be just laying around.

Tim:

some people say this sometimes.

Tim:

Well, when I get to heaven, I'll talk to God about this and Ask him why he did this.

Tim:

I'm like, yeah, sure.

Tim:

Uh, when you get to heaven, you'll be so enthralled by heaven and how wonderful it is you won't remember that offense you had toward God.

Tim:

Get out of here!

Jaclyn:

Yeah.

Jaclyn:

Yeah.

Jaclyn:

You'll move past

Tim:

The life is gonna move on, right?

Tim:

And really, will you think about that when you get to heaven?

Tim:

I mean, I, I'm not condemning anyone, but I think heaven's gonna be so glorious and wonderful and we're gonna get our new orders, we won't think about the past.

Jaclyn:

Exactly.

Jaclyn:

Exactly.

Jaclyn:

And, you know, a friend of mine always tells me the reward for work well done is more work, right?

Jaclyn:

Like when you do a good job, you get more work.

Jaclyn:

Like you get to increase, you know, your capacity for what you can do.

Jaclyn:

And, and so you get more work.

Jaclyn:

So out of all of what we're doing in this world, like we're doing all this work, but can you imagine if we had the passion that we have, the opportunities and the ideas and the creativity, if we had this work that we wanted to do, And we did not have the enemy creating obstacles for us.

Jaclyn:

How much more exciting would it be to just do the work?

Jaclyn:

Like I could imagine just being thrilled all the time, doing the work, doing the work, you know,

Tim:

I'm excited about it.

Tim:

I mean, really am.

Tim:

You know how it is.

Tim:

The older I get, the more eternity starts to set in in my brain, and I feel like I'm getting closer to heaven, you know.

Tim:

The older you get, you're like, oh, I'm getting closer, and if it comes soon, that's a wonderful thing.

Tim:

So, thank you all for allowing me to be on this, and I'm just glad we got to talk about these things.

Tim:

Um, these are keys that help everyone, you know, and for the rest of my life, I will be applying them because I know I need them for the rest of my life,

Jaclyn:

amen, amen.

Jaclyn:

Thank you so much for being here.

Jaclyn:

We've really enjoyed this conversation and getting to have you all to ourselves for a little while.

Geoff:

we appreciate it, and, on another note, we look forward to seeing you in September.

Tim:

Oh yeah, I look forward to it too.

Tim:

Content is such a life changing conference.

Tim:

If it's not life changing, then, you know, I would have developed something I don't even want to be a part of.

Tim:

You know, so I don't want to make the mistake that many people do, and I've made the mistake, the same mistake, develop something that I don't even want to be a part of.

Tim:

It's like, what have I done?

Tim:

So I want to develop something that's a little bit of heaven, a lot of heaven on earth.

Tim:

And so you can come away, have a retreat feel, hear the Word of the Lord, be trained, and develop a new family.

Tim:

Get exposure, there'll be awards, networking, there'll be excitement.

Tim:

It'll be just like a family reunion.

Tim:

And by the way, if you never come, you're like, well, how do you get into this family reunion?

Tim:

Go to ChristianMediaConference.

Tim:

com.

Tim:

That's ChristianMediaConference.

Tim:

com.

Tim:

Look at our program, register.

Tim:

if you have any questions, there's a little button there.

Tim:

Ask them.

Tim:

I'll get back with you as soon as I can

Tim:

and it's going to be incredible.

Tim:

what we're going to have is, probably about a three or four hundred nominations like we had last year.

Tim:

Probably about a hundred award winners.

Tim:

And, we're just tweaking it again to where it would be incredible for people to come.

Tim:

You know, this is the way I always looked at it.

Tim:

If I'm going to develop a conference, I want one class or one session to be worth all the money and the time it

Tim:

took for people to come.

Jaclyn:

uh huh,

Tim:

That's how I wanted it to be, you know, so that's how we look at it.

Tim:

We look at, okay, is it worth it will give them value to where their first class, their first bootcamp, the first session was like, I needed this.

Tim:

It was worth all the money, all the labor, the hotel costs, whatever it is, worth it.

Tim:

And so that's what we put into this.

Tim:

We care about people.

Jaclyn:

thank you for doing all of

Tim:

We know there's a lot of festivals people go to, right Jaclyn?

Tim:

I know there's a lot of them.

Tim:

I've been to all of them and I was actually part of the their conference.

Tim:

I worked for them for many years.

Tim:

I know they all have their separate mantels and I love them all and so we have a mantle being right on our active film studio and right there and feeling the presence of God when you walk on the

Jaclyn:

it's true,

Tim:

location.

Tim:

Well,

Jaclyn:

alright,

Tim:

I look forward to it too.

Tim:

It's coming soon.

Jaclyn:

we'll see you then,

Tim:

Okay, God bless you

Jaclyn:

Okay,

Jaclyn:

Bye

Jaclyn:

bye.
